WATERCOLOURS
I enjoy combining watercolour paint with pen, which adds colour to the pieces; provides a different value of depth. Darker tones of colours layered through watercolours are then masked with a closer detailed pen section to create varied tones and textures. I do tend to allow every piece to take me on a journey rather than plan to the end degree. I appreciate the flexibility of this.

Hi!
My name is Jade and I am an Artist, based in wonderful Dorset, in the South of England. I specialise in creating stunning ink and pencil drawings of the landscapes found in Dorset. My work captures the essence of natural beauty, from the dramatic coastline to the idyllic countryside. My art is a tribute to the unique character and charm of Dorset gifts, and a celebration of its stunning scenery.

I am heavily inspired by artists who use different mediums to express themselves. From Vincent Van Gogh's paintings and drawings to Rembrandt's etchings, all take to layering strokes to convey texture, light, and tone. I love creating abstract art, and creating Dorset gifts for all to enjoy.
I seeks to push boundaries and connect with you on an emotional level. My work is designed to evoke a sense of belonging and grounding, to appreciate the small things, and to embrace life and its challenges whilst finding tranquillity and peace. Whilst highlighting things to do in Dorset.
